years. They are global leaders in setting new standards for best practices in supply chain and back-of-store
efficiency.
The Need
We were asked to develop assessment items to assess the aptitude of students across the following life skills:
- To understand dynamic reports with no fixed format
- To do business analytics out of these reports
- To understand business risks and opportunities
- To track repair activities such as average move through time and repair time
- To emphasise on the link between financial and non-financial functions
- To view performance indicators of repairers or vendors
- To set comparison between different suppliers/vendors
The Solution
To figure this out various analytics were set on the basis of:
Comparison charts between vendor/suppliers.
Various formulas (VLOOKUP7 HLOOKUP7 IF, MATCH, LOOKUP, INDEX, TEXT, OFFSET) to track the average move through time and repair time.
Historical data The information about the repair that happened in the past was used to compare the performance and the time
The output that was to be in the form of XLS of PDF's.
The Results
Dynamic reports — XLS of PDF's were created; catering to the business needs of the client and their end clients
Business Analytics for various verticals could be done from these reports
